Dear friends in this article I discussed about HEC education policy regarding 2 years bachelor and Master programs after reading this you are able to understand HEC new guidelines. 

HEC admission policy for bachelor programs in 2021. 

Do not enroll in an unauthorized two-year program BA/BSC/MA/MSC 

1- Some universities have started the admission in  BA/BS and MA/MSC programs. Although this process will only benefit the university financially, it is against the interest of the students - these canceled degrees  Will not be helpful in getting further education or employment.

2. It was decided in 2004 to abolish the BABS program and replace it with a four-year university degree program.

A final decision was taken to close admission in BA B.Sc. on 31st December 2018 and M.Sc. on 31st December 2020. It was also decided that the final examinations of B.Sc./  The final examinations of MA / MSc will be held before 31st December 2020. These decisions were confirmed in 2017 and again in 2018-2020.

However, the following flexibility is allowed due to the obstruction caused by the corona virus.

Universities have been given an honorary period of three months to complete the BABSC examinations. Any examination completed before March 31, 2021 will be counted as a 2020 examination.

Similarly, the deadline for admission of final class of MSc has also been extended till March 31, 2021 so that students of last class of BABSC can apply for admission.

In addition, students with a BABSc degree are allowed to enter the BS program for 3 years and five semesters after completing one additional semester or additional requirements set by the university.

After the last date of MA / MSc program has passed, students can apply for admission in 3 years of BS 3 program which is (fifth semester) which is a much better choice.

Fresh students can enroll directly in a 4-year degree program or in a two-year associate program offered through an approved campus and affiliated college instead of the old BA / BSc programs.

In case of enrollment in illegal and closed programs, students will have to bear all the risks, costs and associated losses of this measure.
