The Benevolent Fund's requirements for scholarships in 2023–24
Candidates must be dependent children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of Punjabi government officials, have passed the matriculation or an equivalent exam with a minimum score of 60%, and be enrolled in the grade above.

Children with exceptional needs who are enrolled in a special school and are the children of current, past, or deceased government of Punjab employees are also eligible to apply. Additional children of employees who have died or retired due to disability may apply. They must include an authorised copy of their Matriculation or higher results card with their application.

How to Apply for a Punjab Benevolent Fund Scholarship in 2023-24

The Provincial Benevolent Fund Board publishes the Educational Scholarship application form in the newspaper each year.

Educational

The annual percentages awarded as Educational Scholarships to the offspring of government employees are as follows.

Part I: Gazetted (Part-I)

The cost of primary and secondary education ranges from PKR10,000 to PKR28,000 for PhD and postdoctoral degrees.

Gazetted vs. non-gazetted PKR 32,000 (Part II)

Prices range from PKR 1,500 for primary and secondary school to PKR 6,000 for bachelor's, master's, doctorate, and equivalent degrees in subjects such as medicine, veterinary science, agriculture, engineering, and science.

PKR 8,000 High-achieving students are recognized with a PKR 50,000 scholarship instead of the usual PKR 30,000. This is provided to students who have scored 90% or more on any examination (Matriculation or above). To access the Application Form, please click here.

1-Children of Punjab government gazette officers should submit applications to the Provincial Benevolent Fund Board office through the heads of their respective departments. The office is located in the Alfalah building on the Mall in Lahore.

Applications for children may be submitted at the provincial benevolence fund board office by those who are 2-Gazetted officers of the province government (Grade 16 and higher) and non-gazetted officials of the Civil Secretariat, like the SST Assistant Education Officer.

Third, government employees in grades 1 through 15 who are not secretaries must submit their forms to the District Coordination Officer, who is generally the head of the district's benevolent fund board (DCO).

Applications must be submitted in their entirety by March 31, 2023. If applications are received by ordinary mail after the deadline, they will not be accepted.
